Situated in the private Makalolo and Linkwasha Concession in the eastern corner of Hwange National Park, is the private and intimate, Little Makalolo Camp. An ecologically diverse area, Little Makalolo is surrounded by large open plains where large quantities of animals can be seen, particularly in winter where the waterholes are magnets for huge herds of elephants.

The accommodation consists of six spacious tents including one family tent. Tents are on the ground with wooden doors opening onto a verandah with chairs and lovely views. En-suite facilities include double copper wash basins, flush loo and indoor and outdoor showers. Each tent has fans and mosquito nets. The main camp living area has two tents with roll-up sides, the dining area in one and lounge and bar in the other. There is an open fire area, swimming pool and a raised deck and “log pile” hide with waterhole views.

Activities at Little Makalolo Camp centre on game drives twice daily in the morning and afternoon into evening. Walking is on request.
